Raised on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, Jackson Remick is an emerging young guitarist and vocalist bringing his passion for rock music to stages and streets across the island and beyond. Jackson first picked up an electric guitar at age 12 and quickly developed a love for performing. He began building his stage experience through the Nantucket Music Center’s Rock Band Camp, where he performed numerous times with the group at Cisco Brewers. In the fall of 2025, Jackson decided to expand his musical abilities by stepping behind the microphone and developing his skills as a vocalist in addition to playing guitar. By the summer of 2026, at just 16 years old, Jackson took his music to the streets of Nantucket, turning his passion into a summer job as a street performer. What began as busking soon opened doors to performances in other locations and paid gigs, giving him the opportunity to connect with new audiences and continue growing as a live performer.
Jackson has also had the opportunity to perform at several memorable local events, including playing the National Anthem on his electric guitar at a Nantucket Whalers varsity hockey game and the Nantucket High School Homecoming football game. Along the way, he joined forces with fellow Rock Band Camp member and bassist Finnley Seip, combining their musical talents to form Bliss, a young rock duo bringing their energy and musicianship to live performances. With his roots firmly planted in Nantucket’s music community and a growing number of performance opportunities, Jackson is building momentum as a young artist, developing his sound, expanding his repertoire, and laying the foundation for what’s next in his musical journey.
